Hi all
I just resigned from everything i was doing.
I resigned from working in commerical cos tat company has a lousy management which they claim its damn gd. Well.. at least all the staff think tat it is lousy, only management team thinks that they r good

previously i had joined npcc in my sec sch days. n is very happy to be able to join in again after NS. but after that, MOE changed policy to 5 day week. sadly i had to resign and i found opera.

Now I also resigned from opera.

actually not.. i pre-calculated the resignation even before i started. surprised? no lah.. some of u knows tat i know fortune telling.
it was calculated that this year is my final year. although i bought many new toys, but when its time to go. its time to go.
i started by watching my favourite yang lihua's show in theatre n will end by watching my favorite ye qing's show in audience.

ang had asked me to join in for 1 more show which she will give me slightly small roles then i got more time to spend with other things. but drag n drag, no end. but she is happy tat i can finally get my song correct.. but felt its a waste that i resign only when i get it right.
Well.. I had told her previously. If i cant learn the correct key, i will resign. but i am almost correct, still i resign.

i felt tat i am quite fortunate. at least i know tat this is e last show which i doing. although i did not have any big role, but at least i got a shot at a few roles which i wanted to do. well, i think ren gui is e best role i had and i had performed the role best although got some hiccups.

regrets? no, wat is there to regret when u already know u had to go. in fact, i m looking forward to see wat is install in my next phrase of life!

i was watching this show and found that this phrase is meaningful.

giving up, is not to give up.. but a fresh start.

if i dont give up my current shares, then i wont have capital to buy new one.. this new one could rise faster and higher than my current portfolio.

i super bad luck this mth

suppose to fly to shanghai via beijing via inner mongolia..
in the end, flight delay.. thus i cant fly with my original air ticket..
then had to spend another $400..

the original flight was from inner mongolia to beijing to sg. but i requested to go shanghai for fun. then i already had forked out $300 for tat ticket..

damn..

then i tot can 100% claim.. but dlq said only can claim abt $100..
faint..

juz before i flew, i m down with cough..cough so bad tat my assistant also start coughing

then met a typhoon and got struck by thunder when i return to sg.
wth..

in shanghai, i spent 1 whole day travelling up and down, armed with 6 addresses of opera shops all over shanghai.. but can only find 1 shop.. however, the costumes are super limited... then i chin cai buy my no. 4.

Straight after election, i disappear from sg. i had to go to inner mongolia to do something on the same day.

During my Tong Liao trip, i managed to find time to explore beijing city as i need to do some transit.

There are a few flights to beijing on sunday and i decided to book the most crazy flight.. 12am depart, 6am arrive

First Stop.. Beijing Zoo

This animal caught my attention.. its name is Malu.. haha

i felt that these flowers opened quite pretty..
As i dont feel like eating western food for lunch, i bought biscuits to eat instead. Beijing is quite big but dont really have small caterings.. Else.. i lousy and cant find any.

The first day ended with rain while i trying to find zhu shi kou. there was a special request to find something in that area.

Then i saw this lazy animal.. so lazy that it did not wanna pose for me to take photo

On my return, i reserved abt 4hours for forbidden city.
as i did not do any research, i ask for directions on the street.
I asked the Mrt staff 'where should i alight to go to Zi Jing Cheng'

This is the first time that i went northern china. To be exact, TongLiao, Inner Mongolia. We have a subsidiary there and i suppose to go there to meet beijing inner auditor.

This place is quite ulu. But the flight is full. There is a mini airport there. The length of the airport 70% smaller than Sg Budget Airport. It only has a waiting area, and check in area and a runway.

My china bosses bring us to eat goat and cow meat for all meals.. All meals also consist of wine and beer. if u dont drink, its like u dont give them face. Even the girls there can drink.

We requested for singers to our room to entertain us with some keerqin songs.

i believe ke er qin is part of tongliao. it was the homeland of empress xiao zhuang, mother of emperor qing shun zi.

This is a very interesting election, with many bad news from everywhere.

We got news that SM Goh said no personal attack but he 'attacked' his previous staff who is running for opposition.
A msg from Ms Tin was found on media on our very first Cooling Day.
Facebook found a clip saying MM Lee had made a ISD threat.
Tears found during Rallies by many parties.
Sorry was said by PM Lee.
There are also cartoon and modified posters from movies for some parties.

A lot of new 'termology' came out from this election.
Aljunied had a new tiger. Drivers now need co-driver juz like pilots.

There are some policies which i dont like from the ruling party. but policies from the opposition, i also dont like.

minimum wages was started in hk but it resulted an inflation of almost 20%.

cutting NS is also a joke to me. now already left 24mths which some guys are not getting the experience for real wartime.

Some suggest that Radio & TV licence fees should be abolished as they impose additional burdens on the People. I tot its alreaedy abolished?

HDB to be marked to cost+. I prefer a market value HDB with 50% subsidise for singaporean.

hm.. Any Party suggesting to allow dialect back to tv/ radio?

i looking at some political parties proposals for the next election n saw this shadow budget

Among the proposals are:

1) Lower the cost of living including abolishing the GST for basic foodstuffs and medicines, reducing utility rates and lowering public transport fares.

i agree to the second half of the statement. but i dont think abolishing GST is a solution. If u ask me, i prefer to nationalise these public companies.

2) Introduce the Singaporeans First Policy where businesses are required to demonstrate that the skills they seek are not available in the domestic workforce before they are eligible to employ non-Singaporeans.

its not really realistic to do this. cos the employers willing to give jobs to singaporean but not willing to give them the pay. so, does this demonstrate singaporean not seeking the job?

3) Reduce teacher : student ratio in our classrooms to 1 : 20 and introduce school psychologists and counsellors for all schools.

ALL schools.. i think this shadow govt is too rich.. if they want, should intro in tertiary level.

4) Abolish tuition grants for foreign students and reduce fees by 50% for our local students at the tertiary level.

another suggestion which dont really work. dont forget the foreigners sign bonds to improve local industries. if the foreign grant is reduced, it makes more sense.

5) Increase government spending for healthcare and the number of hospital beds by 25%.

This i agree. anyway, sengkang n jurong are building more hospitals.

6) Increase Public Assistance for the poorest of our poor.

7) Dismantle Temasek Holdings and divest its companies; transfer management of GIC to an independent body

i dont really agree to this, since both companies are doing well. but i prefer GIC and Temasek have more independent directors rather than ministers sitting on board.

8) Pay full-time National Servicemen the recommended minimum wage of $1,200 a month as the basic allowance.

TOTALLY disagree.. In fact, i recommend a cut in NS regulars pay... Dont forget, they are eating tax payers money. So y should i pay them normal rate salary

9) Trim the bloated cabinet by removing the posts of MM, SMs, DPMs and Ministers without portfolios.

i only recommend removal of MM and SM. Minister w/o portfolio should have only 1 and he is to take over ministries in the absence of any ministries. Well.. Bu Guan Bu Zhang.. must guan everything

10) Reduce the PM's salary to $60,000 per month from the present $300,000 per month. Other ministers' salaries will be cut proportionately.

IF Donald got 60k, y should PM? PM should have 100k

Overall, i think the Budget 2011 is not bad.

preliminary survey shows that i got many supportive friends but some know wat i thinking abt, others not..

suddenly, i got charged up. although not to full battery but still must thank her.

last sat, i was rushing my assignment.
when i finished, i went to nearby printing shop to have the documents print out
cos i feel that its more expensive if i print via my own printer

1 piece of paper cost me 2cent, ink abt 2 cent, printer electricity, laptop electricity etc.
effectively it will cost me abt 6cents to print out 1 piece of paper. n my printer dont know y so slow
so i gave the shop to print.. only cost me 4cents..
sound silly right..

as i was walking to the shop, a fat boy called me and said 'uncle, can give me $1 to take bus'

then i suddenly saw his father..

these ppl breach the trust of ppl. we rejected giving ppl money due to loss of wallet cos of these ppl.

there r ppl whom really lost money, and is grateful if someone donate $1 or $2 so that he could find the nearby police post etc and to go home.

when i was in xiamen, i met 1 family. The wife said 'sir, we lost our money n the kid need to eat'

if u tell me that the wife purse got stolen, fair enough.. but not the whole family..

A show person might bring better improvement to our TV qualities.. Do u know that i havent watch Mediacorp show for a few yrs.. Cos the script is relatively lose out to tw shows..

The only show that i heard which achieve such remark is Xiao Niang Rei and maybe Holland Village. I wont say mediacorp is lousy but which show did u actually chase?

but i managed to do a few things
1. met maggie, my tw client in feb when i was in tw
2. managed to go hui an to see my grandfather's hometown in dec
3. did my second stage opera. it was also the first time which i sang on it
4. met a few new friends, like cailing, bee lay, mary n yanting
5. going into commercial is something which i did not plan but i decided to try working in commercial in dec
6. the reservist team had a better bonding this round and we are looking forward for the next training

well things which i want, doesnt happen. but i will work harder to achieve it

This is 洛阳桥，its not in Luoyang but in Hui An. Built in Ming Dynasty if i remember correctly. No vehicles are allowed on the bridge. So you have to walk through
The objective of this trip is to visit this town, Hui An Province, Huang Tang Town, Front Guo Village. I was so happy when i found this arc. Although it says nothing but being ok with my history, i know i had reached my objective... My grandfather's hometown

Next yr, i will be having a new job
I switching to accounting line this time. A bit tired of auditing.
Some auditors cant rely on.. Some too old fashion.. sigh..
Finding a good boss is not easy.

My next appointment is Assistant Finance Manager in a company in Genting Lane.
A bit far from my house but i can sleep on the way there.

The company is planning for listing, hopefully can be done.
I be helping the FM with some listing while looking after the company accounts.

Failing to make good decision

I thinking of switching to accounts to learn some basic things such as LC and TT
Hopefully i can find a good job at year end AND CLEAR EXAM!!!!!

The only good decision i made should be the purchasing of 1 share. keke... almost 40% increase within 4 mths

Although OB teacher is male, but i dont really understand what he trying to say, else the class is too big. i cant really concentrate, maybe he is a modern song writer

This teacher, although its female, but easier for me to understand. Well.. class small does help.

We had 2 mini test..
Vocal and Written.

I think i dont do well in vocal.. Teacher said head ok, tail ok.. body cant make it..
but at least i scored well in written, which i am pleased.

i not sure if i am suppose to be happy or sad.
oct is here n i getting stress up again

seems tat i can only enjoy july - aug.. cos the rest of the yr, i m likely to be busy.

i calculated that i will have a turning point this yr n next, making me more busy.
if things goes smoothly, by 2012, i should complete my transition.
hopefully its done by then.

but this transition has 2 root problems... so long as its not cleared, i can never finish wit the transition. Ti Ji cant say too much. I can only try my best.

i tried singing low 8 key for my songs. although its low 8, but i think its nicer than someone's mono low 8. keke.. i still trying to convince ang tat low 8 is better. in e meantime, i have to try to get my key right also.

First in the list is yuting, my little cousin @ 1.15am.. nearly got a scolding from me for sms so early..

dlq managed to be no.2 @ 8am. yeah.. i ki siao.. slept at 3am.. but up so early.. cos ting ting was on way home.. so i juz keep her company til she reached home.

i went to chinatown to get some mooncake to treat coi. we changed the venue place n i foresee them not cooking.. then i scare someone might have bought me a cake.. cos i was SAYING that my bday is in 2 weeks time.. apparently, all no hear lor.. so sad..

Sky Garden

The Garden was open to public yesterday. So i went today to be one of the few batch of ppl that went to take a look. The view there was very nice.. Top on of the 56 storey hotel, the sea was blue and clear from all obstructions.

Here we can see the flooding platform.
The museum which is still under construction. Hopefully it can be completed by end of the year.

this beard is my last yr bday gift from mingde. til date then use... sigh.. the sideburn he bought 3 yrs also not yet see light..

now the show ended.. she still call me dad..

taiwan 2010

Just return from taiwan last week. This time we exploring the northern side of the island.
By the time we reach taipei, it was too late to do anything except dinner, we also made our way to Zhong zhen memorial hall.

Day 2, it was CNY 15th...
This trip is planned to see how taiwanese celebrate their yuan shao.
After breakfast, we went to Long Shan Si, its one of the oldest temple on the island.. well... except that they put an electronic greeting that spoilt the temple gate
The temple and the street outside was crowded. There is a market just beside the temple.

On the right of the temple, there is a water fall. On the left was a qi lin

After the temple visit, we went to Mu zha to find my client, Maggie.
Maggie was our tour guide for Day 2, as she no need to work. But i already told her that we are to go Pingxi to put Kong Ming Lantern.

Maggie suggested that we could wait for free lantern and put together with the crowd. But i dont see the point becos we reached there at 4pm. walked the street til 6pm. and our queue for free lantern was 9pm.

so i suggest to put it off at 7+pm as the sky was already dark. Only difference is that there lanterns are lonely.

Our lantern is almost ready.. and off it goes...It uses the hot air balloon concept to fly.. Kong ming invented this method to send for reinforcement after he was tripped.

Then my camera also dead.. lol...

Day 3, we still in taipei. Places visited include Wu fen pu, Guo fu ji nian tang, Raohe night market and taipei 101.
There is a lantern festival at the Guo Fu Ji Nian Tang

Er.. This lantern is a bit.. off.. Wu Song beat Tiger... Hey! this is tiger year!

There is even a stage performance. The audience is waiting for the light up of...

Taipei 101

Day 4, we made our way to Xinzhu via train to sightsee the city. The maps of taiwan cant make it.. It only indicate main roads. All those small streets are not on the main.. We had to ask around for directions.
This spiral stairs is only available in Tiong Bahru, Chinatown area.. But we found this at Xinzhu

Er.. how come Xin zhu not much photo.. cos we went KTV... to see their karaoke technology n new songs.

Day 5 was at Liu Fu Chun. The theme park includes an open-concept zoo! very nice!!!

Day 6, Taizhong.
We were shocked by the earthquake.. it was very shiok..

Our hotel was near Mingde Station..
Mingde must go visit Mingde station mah..
but no need to go visit Yilan..

Day 7 was a visit to Jilong. We planned to go jiu fen also but no time. So Jiu fen was Day 8
In Jilong, there is an old fort, Ershawan Fort. It was about 20min walk from Lingcyuan Temple. There is a tall Guangyin statue there. We were misled by the map from the temple to the fort.

There is a fishing market there also. haha there is no lobster cracker there

In Jiu Fen, we went to Jin Gua Shi first. It was a gold mine but now not in use. The mast was..We rounded the night in Dan shui.

Day 9, my bag was overloaded.. So we visited Gu Gong musuem on Maggie's advice to see what is inside. There was a Yong Zheng Exhibition but we missed it.

This was found in a park beside Gu Gong.

Flight was delayed til 9pm.. but we only took off at 9.30pm due to runway having some problems. By the time i reached Sg was 2.30am...
so tired.. 7am still got to go to work..

I dont believe myself lor..
i went there with about 16kg including my laptop.
Then i came home with 35kg.. of these 7kg belongs to others, the rest r mine..

after 4.5yrs eating 3 meals at maxwell market.. i think i going to miss it AGAIN

in 2003-2004, i was with IPTO for a year. 3 meals at maxwell market also. Then i left for Queens St market..
2005, i return to maxwell market again n was there since..
some of the food stall, i ate til the aunties recognise me.. no need to order, got food come liao..

current boss treat me ok, but somehow i feel that i got no prospect there. there are no promotion but got annual increment.

increment is not just what i want, but also a real promotion rather than a namecard promotion.
my name card was printed 'Audit Senior' since 2006, but was not doing what a senior is doing.
my juniors no need me to guide, i not reviewing their documents.

The office is under a care of Office Manager, JJ, cos she is always in office. I not after this post, cos its a shit job.. Heng i dont kana..

Salary wise, the accounts department, JJ n Yuki, seems to command more than audit dept but audit invoices more..

Anyway, my new office is at TEK Building, Philip Street, near OCBC HQ at Raffles Place. e things there will b more x.. cos i was working in tat area for 3 mth before...

anyway, i tendered my resignation letter already.

exam is coming n i have a feeling tat i going to crash land again. too many things cant learn from notes.

glad tat e upcoming show, i got no roles or speeches to remember. juz go up stage for fashion show, but i have a feeling that a force is being built up around me.

i trying to think of a way to reduce this stress...

i juz change my house wallpaper from a scenary pic to panda pic.

then today i got news tat sg zoo is getting a 10 yr loan of 2 pandas by 2011!
their enclosure will be ready in 2010

china dont anyhow lend ppl their pandas..
i went to a site, it says tat to carry a small panda, must pay RMB1200, to take photo with big panda costs RMB400!

then pay the tons of shoots they are eating.. all imported food!

i remembered years ago, An An and Xin Xing came sg n create a big Panda party. this loan will be the thing of our life! shiok!!!

This yr is a yr full of wedding..
The first wedding is my buddy, Mr Dave Ee!!!!

if i were to teach, let's see.. wat subject can i do..
1. english n chinese is out.. cos my base is not strong.
2. science is also out
3. technical, dont look at me.. although i technical engineering student but i have no interest in it. no point asking me to teach something which i am not interested in.
4. music.. forget it.. i music deaf..
5. history, social studies and geography seems to be at the back of my finger tips but i think i need to do lots of preparation cos its been years since i touch those subjects
6. accounts, i think i might go mad to teach ppl basic.. but its will be fun. keke

i had a chinese teacher in my sec sch. she juz play the tape and wants us to listen to it.. its a lame way of teaching and caused almost the whole class to lose interest. so tape listening is 100% out. think i rather use examples, past yr papers to teach juz like my lecturer..

i had disappeared for awhile from the opera arena during the first half of the year.
actually i dont disappear.. i went to attend music classes and hope to sing better. but apparently it dont turn out well for my first opera song on stage with ang.
it was such a disappointment

this song might be an old song but i selected this song when teacher wants us to sing to let him listen. i was 'the first to die' when no one willing to volunteer
i wont mention his name else i think he will lose face...

just enjoy it..
i think my opera singing career had ended...

mother is the failure of success. if u try, u wont know if u will fail. but if u dont try, u sure fail.
at least i was given a chance to try, unfortunately i failed.

my lecturer always said
"Failure to prepare, Prepare to fail"

Went to watch this movie this evening
its quite late to recommend to all of you cos its going down the screen

it started with Margaret Tate, being deported and she had a deal with her assistant to marry her so that she could start in the country. Margaret was said to be the most evil boss in the company. Hey this company communicates via msn just like me in office. haha

Then there was this meet-the-parent session cum granny's 90th birthday. This granny is sure full of surprises...

This is a pass-down-to daughter in law's dress.. nice hor :P

but there are some twist and turns in the show which surprises me.
human are of feelings. There are some events in life which will twist and turns in our lifes. This forms a character of a person. The surrounding people around you had their own history and upbring. Open your eyes to see and you might see something different about them

e entire office is having -ve leave and they still taking leave... boss is not deducting their salary or anything...

my next door neighbour who see me grow up is going to sell his house.

actually i aiming at a few flats, one of them is theirs cos its just next door. anything i can just walk over to my parents flat. then no need to order lorry to move my things.

the second flat i aiming at is my grandmother's but the leasehold is ending. but i not sure of this cos its a conservative area. anyone know of the lease there?

but too bad. i not yet 35, nor married. i also dont think i have the capability to buy a flat myself...

cos got many xiao sheng in sg also very yandao, eg yh, mx, etc.. so i numbered myself as 116th most yandao. wahaha...

u will then b asking if there are 115 xiao sheng in sg? hmm.. actually i also dont know leh... maybe + all of sg opera troupes, maybe have bah.. if u free, count for me n let me know.

went for a zhen jiu session today. its e 3rd session to get my back back. i complained of heaty and the doctor felt my pulse... after tat my normal back zhen jiu with ba guan... she did this to me...

i asked a friend who is studying TCM but apparently she not yet study ba guan.. i dont understand why my stomach got uneven colouring...

then teacher was assigning roles to us juz now n i got one of e roles which talk n talk n talk n talk n talk n talk n talk n talk n talk...
sometimes i talk fast lah... but give me a talk n talk n talk n talk n talk role... ok lor... train to slow down...

was sleeping on the bus while on way back from gcb
then a blind guy sat behind me, he was much bigger size than me

he is asking for bus stop but i cant recognise the road at night.
he asked me to play with his hp, to locate some files etc.

initially i was quite pissed off. he could tell me which file he is looking for and i will switch it for him. but he keep asking to enter this file, exit this file etc.

suddenly he asked if we are at bt timah, i was quite surprise cos the bus just turned into bt timah! and he alighted..

the blind is blind in his eyes but not in his heart. we, although can see but is blind at heart. we then to see things via own view but not from the views of others
