losses

its a sad news but my dear Jeremy had made a worst decision in his life (i think). its worse than marrying a wrong woman and get divorce. Worse than finding wrong job.

he bought a share and is unable to sell it within T+3 day. (we are allowed to contra within this period) he's cursing why no one wanna buy...

if he sold @ T+3, at most, he made a loss of 400 of brokeage.

as he got no money to pay, he had to sell it at a loss of 10k + brokeage of 300

however, he missed the dateline. now he waiting for sgx statement showing how much he had to pay. But i expecting a loss of abt 12k+ due to force sell...

its a painful lesson.

to lose 10k, it will wipe out my wife capital completely! (ps: i had sold my wife capital)

e heaviest loss i had is 3k loss in 1 transaction. over the past few yrs, my P/L stated that without that wife capital gain, i virtually gain nothing except dividends.
