hainanese show

went to watch hainanese show in national lib.

as i planned to go there for study, i tot 'y not, since there is free tickets around...'

the poor thing is i dont understand hainanese...
but i found the show quite interesting with settings in the 1950s.

its abt a neighbourhood. there is an uncle who sells chicken rice, he objected his daughter to be with a civil servant who cant speak hainanese.
so this poor guy went for training under a hainanese opera teacher. i like this uncle, he is quite lively

there is a guy who liked this teacher. however he got a wife in China who came to find him. during this period, the opera troupe is perparing 'Bao Gong chop Chen Shi min'. this guy is reminded not to be Chen.

i must say its quite an interesting show.
