Where to seek fairy maid
who stood before my eyes?
Wavering shade
as cloud-veiled moonlight
Aimlessly I pace;
silently i ponder
and already evening sun goes down.
A sunlit cloud descended from the heavens
sculptured grace, flower-like smile:
whose brush protrayed this liveing presence?
Surely she gazed at me with love unspoken.
一片红云下太清，如花巧笑玉娉婷。凭谁画出生香面？对俺偏含不语情
落韦与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色

Duke Wen of Jin begged for food and was scorned
but the wife of Xi Fuji honored him;

This bloom of springtime no eye has seen.
What if my beauty should amaze the birds
and out of shame for the comparison
"cause fish to sink, wild geese to fall to eath,
petals to close, the moon to fide her face"
while all the flowers tremble.
恰三春好处无人见. 不提防沉鱼落雁乌惊喧，则怕的羞化闭月花愁颤.


However close the likeness
viewed from near at hand,
from fatrther off one would say
this was some airborne sprite
Union in some year to come
with the courtier of the moon
with be beneath the branches
either of Wall City or Germany
近者分明似俨然，远观自在若飞仙。他年得傍蟾宫客，不在郭边在德边
