Yeah... The new guy sent resignation after scolding from boss in client's place.
Y? He took 1 hour to issue a cheque and TT to Msia, if i not wrong.
Rumours had it that he went to client's place on fri to issue cheques and do accounts. Boss asked him to do a TT to Msia in the morning and TT to Phillippines in afternoon. That was abt 10am
At 1pm, boss scared that he could not finished his job fast and went to help me. He saw that he only issue 1 cheque and did a TT.
Boss asked: how come u so slow? i tot u got 5 yr experience, finished Level 2 ACCA. How come so slow?
He: The accounts is wrong from previous accountant (boss), i trying to figure out how to correct the error...
Boss: (Piss off) Ask u to do this, u do tat for wat? waste time leh
Another classic from him.
He got a shipping accounts. He questioned Boss how come no GST is taken up and he started classifying the accounts himself.
Boss asked: The client give u this. Y u do tat?
He: WE MUST GIVE THE CLIENT ACCURATE ACCOUNTS
Heloo... u r talking to e auditor of the accounts...

He could not finished the above 2 jobs. So boss passed some of his other jobs to me. Cos i shaking leg... (i infamous for being fast... but not accurate... {auditor mah...})
He not happy that i took his job. Anyway those job urgent n he complain to boss. Funny right?
Then in Notes to Accounts, Taxation section.
He questioned me "how u get this figure"
I explained to him. He not satisfied and question boss. (that section is prepared by boss cos i made a mistake when i compute it)
He said " This must be done this way mah."
Boss " 1) we are not tax agent. 2) We only ensure that the accounts is True and Fair not True and Accurate. 3) Immaterial dont question so much..."
This morning, he came at 9am sharp for the first time...
When boss came in at 10am, he stood up and walked to boss and said "Boss, i m resigning"
Hm... normally when i resign, i will find opportunity to talk to boss quietly... That guy really is a classic...
Any1 interested to take over this accounts cum audit position?
