things i like abt tw

1) weather, the temperature is high but its not very hot. due to the 4 seasons, the skin of taiwanese is very nice. not like mine... so many pimples...

2) i like the discipline of the ppl there. in sg, we have keep left policy in pri sch but in tw, everyone keep to their right. those in hurry, kept to their left and walked up.


3) FOOD. their food there is nicer than sg lor... after eating xue hua bing, i dont feel like eating ice kajiang. This is our last meal


4) Friendly, i think their people are quite friendly. they would welcome u to their shop and say goodbye even if u dont buy things. When u bargain, they wont pull a long face. Maybe they know the markup profit.
In sg, if u are not talking to the boss, dont think of discount. Even if u are talking to boss, dont expect much. Maybe its due to the high cost of living.

i wonder how is their salary scale like...
too bad, i went to their fortune teller. he no say tat i can work there... only say i can have business in china...

tw hotel

these are hotels we stayed during the trip.

tw trip

basically, this is a refugee trip.
we were running everyday.

once we got there on sunday, we decided to rest for the night as we reached tp too late.
mon, went to ximending and wu fen pu, its a day market with lots of shopping.
unlike sg, ximending got lots of big signboards with advertisement.

their mrt card is so much 'logical' then ours. In sg, our temp cards need to bring back to the machine to get back the deposit. But theirs, just drop into the exit gate.
We reached taizhong on monday night. First thing after we dropped our things in hotel, we went night market. TZ night market got nothing much.
We started moving after checked out. This time, to Gaoxiong.
Went to their night market which a shopping spree started. Everyone started buying things and went almost bankrupt. As i am already bankrupted, i did not buy much. There are things which i wanted to buy. But not now, if i buy, will get caning.

Thur is back to tp for the big show. i wont talk abt the show as i believe other blogs will be talking abt it also.


fri n sat is a rest-pocket day. i took S$800 there and still need to draw another $100, of cos had to rest pocket liao. The card bills i yet count in... i now already dont know how to recoup this loss, so i cant spend anymore. Total trip, i spent more than 1 more salary. i think i need to hide from huang zuyao.

lastly, must thank my tour guides for making the trip so enjoyable and all the ppl who are in the trip.

tw vs sg

everyone knows that its my first flight trip. so i tend to have lots of things to say.

Jiang

1) Weather, The temperature is almost the same as sg. But the sun is not so hot. We moved from North to South tw like refugees. But we hardly sweat. The wind is strong but cooling. Very shiok...

2) The view is much better than sg. Of cos lah... Sg, we only see HDB but we saw farms, mountain and sea in tw.

3) Human. The ppl there are very kind and friendly. Maybe its because we are all Yan Huang Zi Sun but they are unlike sg who will give u a face.

4) Road, Well, this is something which i am not very used to it. The traffic is a bit weird. The orange light can blink but all cars cant be bothered to stop.

But the green man is cute
5) Jiang is the general mah. So i refer it to the govt. Dont need to say. Chaos...

bread price

sigh... after GST, bus, oil, now even bread price go up. so sian.
only know how to go up, dont know how to come down.

o dear... oil price hit US$90!
petrol price going up again, so does electricity.
SIA had taken action to increase fuel charges.
I believe SP Power is going to be next.
Of cos, all petrol kisok are going to increase the cost

If this goes on, cost of living is going up again cos manufacturing cost is up and so does selling price.

then salary dont go up...

sigh... anyway i will be away next week. C u all in ROC

i very pissed off today by that stupid idiot in my office.
he is already marked by many ppl yet he still like to make ppl pissed off.

he asked jiajuan to tell the carrier guy to do some instructions for his client when he is in office! if he going out, everyone will be glad to help lor but he is IN office!

he keep going to a client's office juz to teach them do things. HELO!!! u are auditor leh not teacher! he spent 300 over hours in a client's place doing abt 3 cases. That will be about 100 hrs/ case. Pls lor, if i am to bill the client, i will bill almost 10k for it. But boss only bill abt 2k+. And he 'enjoy' going there at 3pm. Dont know he go there and left the office early or wat.

Juz now, there is a tax query. The tax happened to be done by me but was transferred to his care the following year. If you are pro enough, since the case is already under your care, you should take care of it although it is done by me.

If you not going to do, at least help to find the file lah. I tried to help him as he is slow in work but i cant locate the file, unable to help him so i return the query letter to him. But he gave me a stare and said 'not mine, i not going to do'.

Wat the hell reply is this. U are a pro and yet u behave like a rockie who juz started working. Audit Senior leh... Not Audit Starter.

Myat did an accounts for 06, i did for 05. Jiajuan doing 07. Although Myat did not know how to do, yet she still tried to explained to JJ and requested for my assistance in explaining the case. But this guy dont even tried to look for the file and take a look at the query.

I may not be audit senior but i still got a say in office lor.

He is also marked by Jeremy for doing his case slowly. Boss keep asking Jeremy to do things fast but did not ask him to speed up. In 1 month, Jeremy and I each easily can bill $6k/mth. But i think he can only bill tat amount in 2 mths lor.

During office hours, Jeremy and i had a window on the stock market. This guy got a link to a brible. Jeremy and him kana scolded by boss for 'staring at monitors'. After which, Jeremy did not dare to look at the computer unless he typing report. But he still doing his reading. However, you are unable to catch up in work already, yet still spent abt an hour a day looking at non-work related documents.
wat abt me? i OPENLY look at the market although boss is beside me. He will switch to another window.

Tang Dynasty City

i juz got news that Tang Dynasty City is to be demolised in January 08. its so sad. they spent so much money to build it. then the owner got no money to maintain it as the rental and expenses are to high to be covered by the entrance fees.

i only went there once and found it quite nice. i tot that JTC might had left it opened and employ a few sweepers, juz like hor pah villa.

after the previous owner returned the land to govt, its been a white elephant. so sad

hui lan ji

had a tiring week as we had rehearsal every day last week.
finally the show is over. i believe everyone is satisfy with their performance esp zhuying. she keep asking me to give her points for that night's performance.


luckily the chief director is not around else we will still be doing adjustments on the last minute. but sometimes its good for him to be around to correct the errors.


This is our wu shu director, Mr Li. he got a daughter same age as xin en, then he became xin en's godfather... like tat also can...

after $5 lunch, i took a cab to a client's place which costs me $18.

at tea time, i bought a can of drink.
after work, as i was late for appointment, i decided to take a cab to the mrt instead. but i dig my pocket. i got less than $1!

my ezlink card only got $2! wat the hell!!!
