i dont feel like blogging this but...

its seems that there are quite a lot of MRT suicide these few days.
the suicider had actually planned the attempt before jumping. Although i admire their courage but its a silly thing to do...

More silly part is... he had to pay $0.80 to jump and wasted lots of other resources eg shuttler buses provided by the train provider and wasted lots of ppl's time...

I believe there is another case today. I was able to go home via City Hall but there is notices that no train from Queensway to JE. No reason was provided.
As i expected thousands to jam Queensway to take the shuttler bus, i decided to take 197. wasted at least 1 hr of my time... I wanted to spend this time on my books as i prefer to read between 9-10pm. In the end... I got home at 10pm for the news...

Mahabharata costume

I went pray 9 Huang Ye today in Teck Whye. After which, i strolled my way to teacher's place to take my costume.

i got 1 for soldier and 2 for Prince Uncle.

The Prince Uncle got 1 with shiny plates, the other without... I like the 1 with... Its looks so simple... The color is of pale yellow. Very like those wore by 八王爷。

Hope i got chance to take more photo with it... Chio right...

But first... Must go buy camera....

Then i rushed home to study at 7+ (cum eat grandma's dishes)

Then teacher told me i took the wrong costume...

life

i had a Metal life. Meaning of the 5 elements, mine is of Metal life. Maybe that's why i like to look into finances so much.

Anyway, base of 5 Xing construction and destructive cycle, to balance Metal, you need Wood or Fire.

i was looking at the things which i was doing so far.
My job: auditing. paper based job. Wood.
My CCA: acting. Acting is something under spotlight. It was classified by masters as Fire.

i think some of you know that i got a diploma in engineering but i switched to accounts. Actually, i dislike engineering although can earn more money. My mouth rots so i cant do sales. As such, i took accounts. But i dont seem to do well also. Boss sometimes say my things not well done. But he is good enough to guide me along.

I like NPCC and wanted to take it as my career in the police force but i dont qualify for the job due to my eye degree. So too bad...

I just found out that acting is Fire element. But i dont seems to do well in this field. I was a Assistatnt Producer before taking auditing job. But i failed to excel. In COI, i also dont seems to get things right. Sigh...

The teller whom i see suggest me to change name. But i rejected his idea because is the first gift from parents. It's a blessing giving by them.

new player

i finally got a new player! i damaged my vcd/dvd/ld player the other day and was watching vcd via my pc for e past month.






Early this month, i had went to do some search and was thinking which to buy.

Tonight, Dad wanted to watch some opera shows as tv was boring...
Then the player cant play again...

So he suggest we change the player. I told him i going to get a ktv/dvd/vcd recordable player.
Then he looked at me and said: "House to 2 more players leh...

I was surprised... how come my house is like a store room... i dont even know we got 3 players at home!!!

Guess which is the new player, which is the old 1...

cockroach

i think i mention abt 7 drown cockroach before...

today, i drown another cockroach in coi, the 4th this year. i got 2 more months to drown 3 more...

this cockroach block my way to toilet. i gave way to it but dont know y it came back again. so i kicked it into the toilet bowl and drown it... I HATE COCKROACHES...

juz got announcement, we doing 2 days instead of juz friday... i can only tell u that u will have lots of surprise for sat show

Now you know why i prefer to watch street opera once if i know the story line...

To put things simple...

1) Santanu got 8 sons in first marriage but 7 of them were drowned by their mother Ganga as they were gods descend for punishment. The surviving son became a wise man.

2) Santanu remarried and got 2 sons, Dhritarashtra and Pandu. Elder Dhritarashtra was blind, so the young Pandu took the throne.

3) Pandu had 2 wives, Kunti and Madri, who got 5 babies between them via divine spell. But Pandu died after activating a death spell.

4) Dhritarashtra weds Gandhari in an arranged marriage and becomes the parents of 100 sons, the Kauravas.


18 yrs later...

5) Arjuna, 1 of Kunti's son, won a gift in a contest and Kunti wants him to share the gift among the brothers

6) Duryodhana (eldest son of Dhritarashtra) follows the advice of his uncle who an infamous dice player, and invites Yudhishthira (Kunti's eldest son) for a game of dices.

7) The story continues....

A brief outline to our next performance... in case u saw til blur...

Santanu, king of Hastinapura, was married to the beautiful River Goddess Ganga. Ganga threw her 7 sons into the river. Ganga revealed herself to Santanu and told him that her children had once been celestial beings and had ended their 'punishment' quickly by drowning them immediately after birth. She then left with his last son Devarata.

Santanu remarried a second wife on condition that she would be the mother of a king. This marriage got 2 sons. The blind son, Dhritarashtra and Pandu.

As his brother is blind and unfit for the throne, Pandu becomes the new king. One day while hunting in the forest, Pandu shoots a gazelle in the act of mating. The gazelle was actually a brahmin priest in disguise, who curses him saying that should Pandu make love to either of his two wives (Kunti and Madri), he will die instantly.
Kunti, his first wife reciting a spell, and three sons are born to her: Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna. Madri gives birth to twin sons, Nakula and Sahadeva. Pandu died later due to the curse.

Dhritarashtra weds Gandhari in an arranged marriage and becomes the parents of 100 sons, the Kauravas.

When Arjuna announces to his mother that he has won an archery contest, Kunti tells him to share the prize with his brothers.

Duryodhana (eldest Kauravas) follows the advice of his uncle, the cunning Shakuni, an infamous dice player, and invites Yudhishthira for a game.

Last few scenes are preparation for war...

troupe close

saw on papers that a teochew troupe is closing next year.
its so sad.
although the troupe is doing well, but lack of audience is the reason they gave for closing.

anyway, the closure of a troupe brings another closing chapter of sg history.

its sad to see such culture disappearing from us.
Previously, there are no tv thus youngsters will go watch street opera.
Nowadays, youngsters will prefer to watch the monitor.

Imagine... 20 yrs later... GCB got no more troupes performing...
But i can imagine XJ's troupe starring the stage for 70days! Heheee....

so far only 2 companies had released their designs.

i cant tell much now as there are too much lightings effect in the papers but i am pleased that the companies had a marine concept...

its so tiring these few weeks... having classes every night.
was so sleepy that i slept under my lecturer's nose the whole night...

use using the ntuc made type last time... as i always cut myself, i lazy to shave... anyway... dont know how come i always dont get a clean shave...

but this new 1 is not bad... i finished e job within 1 min... n its much cleaner...

decided to quit, lack of idea and skill to do so.

anyway, its written for fun as i was trying to keep myself busy so i dont really feel wasted.

enough of fengshui for 2 days
another news which i juz received, very difficult decision to make.

HQ is converting all voluntary adults to full inspector rank. currently we holding only half inspector or warden officer rank.
of cos there is a course to take. As we are adults, we do not wish to attend the 3 weeks course. (who will willing to take 3 weeks leave)
anyway, HQ is making a weekend course instead but no details provided except... its weekend...

option 1: give up npcc
option 2: make my life difficult and attend the course lor.

i still kiv for more info... but decision is to be made by next month...

shop fengshui

not bad leh...
first time tried looking at shop fengshui... but that was months ago.

i was at a laundry shop. (yes, tat laundry shop)
actually the shop seems to be quite empty to me. well juz start business, so its normal.

i been there quite a few times actually... but e last time i been there, i noticed that the boss had installed some shelves on the wall.

Well... nothing wrong with that as u can put things there mah.
but the shelf, is the type that is not covered 1, is facing the cashier.
in my view, it looks like a knife pointing at the cashier.

if the shelf is lower, not so bad as the counter is there to 'shield' the cash register. Unfortunately, its much taller.
I sms my friend to tell her, to inform her boss to do something about. But no action is done.

i walked passed the shop a few days ago. guess what...
There is a renovation, seems that there is a change of hand.

casino II

dateline of our second casino had closed, leaving only 3 players.
the market looks good with Genting who had experiences in Genting highland. Capitaland seconded the listing with 8 Wonders as dark horse.

Dont look down on dark horse... they can suddenly win 1...
Of cos i prefer Capitaland to win but on the other side... i dont mind Genting to win, as they will bring a "Universal studio" to sg.

Anyway, let's hope not another joss stick this time...
i hoping for something round in shape...

Sentosa had a shape of crab claw, to have something round is easier for the claw to clip on.

moodless to do any blog these few days
i got something more stressed than my exams... i cant believe it man... its so simple yet i so stressed abt it.

even my ACCA and O level also not so stress... (heloo... dont compare with poly exam... poly exam got %, u failed exam. still can pass subject 1)

a lot of ppl showed concern, but i still cant managed to get it right...

i also dont want ppl to have bad impression of the show due to 1 person. cos i too outstanding liao... even a ghost can recogise me... Y? cos i m the only young guy in the troupe.

those who come upstage can easily tell that the only who cant sing is me lor.
i believe it has something to do with technic but i juz cant get it right.
tonight, i walked from chinese garden home (+30min). while walking along the lonely road, i found that i not singing lor... i squeaking my way lor.

Mid Autumn rehearsal

rehearsal ended at 10pm, juz in time for me to see the brightest moon (once in 15 yrs). but the hazy is covering up the entire sky.

i very excited abt the new show... first time singing but i keep NG... very disappointed with myself... half tune also cant sing.

i been practising since i got home while watching tv... korean show hahaa... even my whole family was woke up by my noise...

ya... 2am... i still trying to get my 2 lines song right...

emperor - bad points

Fr asked "how is it like to be emperor"
i can tell u, emperor is the most lonely person in the world.

1) You can never make friends with him. If you offended him, he will want your head.

2) He will not be rewarded and always is the one who reward ppl.

3) His wives are more of political stability than romance. If he opt for romance, either he dies or the empire fell. Eg Emperor Tang Ming, Qing Shunzi, Qing Guangxu, Ming Zhengde

qi ji & nightmares

a miracle happened juz now...

my brother said " kitchen got rice" when i returned home after class...
Miracle leh... we didnt talk for dont know how many months liao... its e first time he opened mouth.

These few nights keep having nightmares, making me more tired than normal.
Last thursday night, i dreamt of Teacher Hong going around asking if any of us cant do our next show.
But when she came to me, i dumbed... How come i dont replied her straight!!!

Friday night, my 2.5 lecturer announced that we going to have additional class on sat. i stared at him... totally stunned...

Friday night, i got another nightmare which i forgot what is it. Sat Hong Teacher said she wants me to sing 1/2 tune. I keep having nightmares whenever got news of me singing songs leh...

Last night, got another nightmare. The crazy lift went up 25th floor then came down 4th floor before going 30th floor when i pressed 12th floor. And the speed was not the normal pace lor... At a super fast pace...
Luckily some1 sms to wake me up. (I dont off my hp at night)

Haha... STI up 31 points today!!! So happy... Its hitting 2,600 sooooooon

Today in focus Raffles Holdings. This company previously owned Raffles Hotel which was sold recently. The directors decided not to do business anymore.
Parent company, Capitaland, decided to buy back all the shares at 6 cents but on top of that, RH is distributing 33 cents divdends and 37 cents capital distribution. Thus total 76cents
Current market price before market starts is 73cents and it closed at 75.5cent

Well... there is still chance to earn that 1/2 cent profit else wait til the price fell lor.
As small investor, i dont think its profitable to buy this shares as 1 lot only earns $5 (based on 75.5cents)

Anyway... up to u lor. I dont have the fund so... give up...

Went to Chinese Garden for a stroll. Wanted to upload some pic but my hp camera not good. Only got the outline of the lanterns. So u all go there yourselves to see :)

There was a stage with little Chang er and Hou Yi competition. Actually i was quite envy that those kids got 'childhood'. At least they got the chance to go up to the stage.

I hated it when teachers asked us to write things like "What u do during the holiday?" "A meaningful day" etc... I got nothing to write!

Children Day, we are able to wear own clothes to school. I remembered, got 1 yr my discipline master got nothing better to do... He went to tailor made a school uniform.
We all laughed when we saw him walking out of the staff room for morning parade

was down with flu these few days.
normally my nose start running once the weather change and i dont like to go reservist during cold season esp nov n dec. the water is cold hahaa

was at client's place these few days.
as i got no1 to keep me company, i start doing things to amuse myself.

normally clients dont like us to disturb their normal work, so we also minimise disturbing them.
