haircut

i think i mad lor.
i am going reservist next month for 3 weeks. so sad... no opera, no work, no sleep and must work like bangalah.

as i reached coi too early today, i walked by bugis to have my haircut. i dont like to go incamp with too short hair.

i was having a bad day thus i dont ask ppl to go out. i also thinking of jumping down lor. ya let me rot and die bah.

talk show

heart attacks

kana a series of heart attacks these few weeks.

1. pc kana virus juz before i wanted to go watch li ya xian. the pc is very important to me lor. cos without it, my life will be ultra boring. need to keep it working

2. the market drop so badly that i decided to sell at $3k loss. i foresee the market to go even worse. thus having cash in hand is safer although the interest is only 0.25%.
this result my expenses in tw will be slightly controlled. initially i wanted to spend my profits in tw.

3. result is finally out. at first i tot i got 52 points, i was so happy cos i dont do well. but it turned out to be my address was st 52. in the end, it failed as expected.

although the market looks calm down due to the lowering of commerical interest but i dont think this will last for long lor.

virus attack

i am still in the process of formatting my pc... pls bear with me for a while. trying to find the necessary cd out first...

so piss off... my pc kana virus.
if u happen to c me sending u files, pls dont accept unless i told u to do so.

had spent 5 hrs trying to load anti virus scanners to clean of this monkey virus.
loaded housecall but got some problem, tried norton but it seems not to do much. now using panda and f-secure. later loading kapsersky as my final scan

today celebrates the 42th birthday of the country which i saw it grew up.

normally it was celebrated at the Padang or Stadium. this yr, the organising committe decided to celebrate in a new venue, Marina.

Whenever there are fireworks, there will be friends gathering with me to celebrate the event. Today is no different. thousands of friends came to visit me. Some even came here last night to book a good view place.

When the national flag flew past us over the head, we stood firm and stuate. Tears dropped when the national song was played from the main venue. I am proud that this small island grew to become a city of wealth and riches.

my office line need to dial 9 before calling out.
it comes my habit when i use my homeline.

if i call someone's home, i will still press 9 first. if i dial hp, i sometimes also press 9 before the number. a mistake will be 'deadly' if the friend's number is 95XXXXXX. So pai seh... cos it will connect to the civil defence.

demoralised

was quite demoralising these few days.

not sure what the issue but it seems that subprime mortage is the current trend now.

the subprime may have effect on banks but it means that property are slightly overpriced. property buyers should be careful when give quotation. banks having problems collecting their debts. on the whole, bank with no money is a big issue.

currently, its 1 of accountants' most hated period - 2nd quarter reporting. reports are released during late july - mid aug. on the whole, everybody is doing well.
we have capitaland, keppelcorp breaking records. apple and MS are also doing fine. then suddenly some mortage lenders and banks start saying they got problems with loans. the other suddenly is the whole world market index went down 10% within 3 weeks.

its easy for index to go up but the price of individual shares to go up.
some 20% of my unrealised profit had been wiped off. on top of that another 10% of capital also said bye bye. i had waited for abt 3 mths to for the 20% and its suppose to be my tw capital. now its all gone.

i been wondering if 'uncle' investors know how to play or not. some could see the trend of sell down and start throwing their holdings.

A share was priced $3.00, now only worth $2.60. Tat's 13%!!!

concert

went to a mini concert with the gals to renmin theatre for a mini concert.

when i promised them that i will be going, i was quite worried. Cos after i promised them, i just remembered that i was on mobilisation standby that day. Country first, before self. sigh...

as it was approaching 12noon, i decided to go for an early lunch. while eating suddenly my sms sounded, it was quite 'scary' as i did not pack my things. i am not expecting a call-up before or after national day lor. to my relief, its from a very sian person. hahaa.

abt 1pm, another sms sounded. i was watching the tv opera by then. was quite puzzled lor. there is no signal on the tv how come my sms ring. to my surprise, its from boss. So sickening... my client wants a file urgently but boss asked me to email her. How could i email her? i not in office mah.
so i told boss to that the file was sent on thur and self-service email her again as the scanned copy is still in my pc.
then boss reply 'could u resent her from the resent folder?'

suck thumb, had to switch on the pc and do it at home.

2pm, the golden hour... was thinking which attire to wear as the concert is at 4pm. i will be late if i delay too long.
2.30... bo chup liao... change into civi and run to mrt. i wanted to go back office to get my jacket in case the theatre is cold. i was running with flu.

when i reached office, my boss had left. too bad, no jacket for me. i made a quick dash across the road to the theatre as i dont wanna be late.
to my surprise, i am the second to arrive.

the last concert that i watch should be Qiao Jie Li christmas concert which was abt 3 yrs ago. wow... that's quite some time ago...

anyway, the theatre was surprising full house. fyi, my mom went on the sunday 7pm show.
