sometimes, by calling oneself good looking is not really a person being really gd but a form of boosting own confidence.

29/6/08 show

tiring...
actually there isnt much things for me to tired but i dont know y i just tired.

think i care too much things liao. hahaa
mk n i went there early to la kopi but she got all the time to play psp while i busy dont know wat.
hm... maybe i reservist too long liao. know how to wayang. hahaa...
anyway monday is day 5 of 17. so many days to go... sian lor

e actresses started makeup around 2.30pm. wr n mk will blog interesting pic for u to view. by 3pm, the setup is done n i started to wayang...

aiya, backstage, if u want to do things, got 1001 things cum kpo for u to do 1 lah. from the position of actors, to props position to mic to light to food n water to projector to audience seats.

when the show started, i started playing with the lights from level 3. got a birdview of everything.
overall, i felt the previous show is slightly better than today. maybe its e stage, maybe its e tiredness of the actresses.
in the meanwhile, its time to sleep...

hey, for wayanging today, will i get best ACTOR award?
not interested in best sheng / dan or best actress hehehee...

sad, my office buddy leaving next mth

he's a gd guy lor, juz too helpful. its gd to be helpful but not gd to be too helpful.

normally, we will just take down numbers of the clients.

but he will ask what is it abt, is there anyway he could help. then he will do the thing for the missing person. i not saying that its bad but its slightly out of his scope. when he did it often, everyone take it for granted.

i meant if he is the secretary or receiption. he will be a gd one.

if i am away for a long period or the matter requires immediate attentation, i appreciate if he does the thing for me. but if its not urgent, he will still help. in the end, he got scolded from boss for work delay.

its not that he wants to delay work but by helping others, he is not helping himself. anyway, wish him gd luck in his new workplace...

rehearsal for 22/6

as u know, i am too tired for shows at the moment and is looking for some mental rest before my reservist. however, to show support, i still go to rehearse n help out with some fighting scenes n learn the reserve role which teacher asked me to learn.

as the show is in the final stage of preparation, 'the reserve', which is me, got no chance to take the stage n do the show. aiyo, ppl rehearsing, i take the stage for wat. so i have to use some spaces at the side n learn myself.

as ppl rushing from work, there are some who came late. time for 'reserve' to make himself... be the runner.

7.45pm scene 1, second prince not yet arrive. i took over and did the role funny cos i not very familiar with shen duan

scene 2, 3rd prince late. i had to take over, do some boating. as extra lah. i juz 凑凑数.

next scene, 3rd prince still not here yet. richard suddenly said 'go chop her nose'. i was quite puzzled... chop whose nose... then i realised tat 3rd prince got show, had to 跑釉陶

next is a bird scene. seeing no1 taking the stage. i saw a smile from teacher... omg... Extra had to work again...

o no!!! still got 1 more old man role... omg...

heng ah... after tat, those who are suppose to be here, are here liao... i finally can rest n practise some spear n water sleeve. tired leh...

but i am very excited abt the next possible chance of doing the show. i WANT TO replace my upperstudy asap.. hehee

22 / 29 june show

i taking a break from this two shows due to combo of stresses. there are some ppl who are quite surprise. teacher wants me to go down to do the 22nd. but i prefer doing the backstage for these 2 days.

there will be a suspense of blog entries from 25th june - 13th july. so dont be surprise if there is no new entry.

anyway, i was at home already today but decided to go down guide the rest in the fighting scene as its e same 'skill' used for my previous fight. no join but give moral support mah.

teacher wanted me n dlq to also learn the king's role of bala. so i shun bian go learn the movements while helping the rest with the fight.

in e end, i got no time to rest today as all the spear fighters of tue are not here.
die lor, fight finish this sword fighter, must fight the other. but this also polish my own technic. gd lor.

the newbies are learning very fast. i was telling zy tat she can do wen xiao sheng, but let me do wu xiao sheng. looks like i having lots of problems liao lor... hahaa

finally when i got a chance to rest, sunny suddenly asked 'y u so qiao cui these 2 days when i see u'

so caring of him...

ya i very qiao cui lor. mentally and physically tired. mayb i should go for a holiday soon... but need to wait til at least 13th july. then 18 aug, i will have to decide if to continue study or juz to my own revision... stress....

unpopular role

was doing some calculation this afternoon n concluded that
1) we got many students (as per mk's blog)
2) we got as many sheng as dans
3) old sheng is an unpopular role.

our no. 1 old sheng's place is unshakeable with richard in place. he is like the pillar of old sheng role. no one, temporary, can replace him. well... maybe not because his skills is so gd tat he is irreplaceable but maybe its an unpopular role tat no one bothered to 'snatch' from him. nowadays, this old sheng is thinking of switching to xiao sheng.

as per mk, dlq is also another well-liked old sheng but i think she is more like part time old sheng.

there is another old sheng, zhenqin but temporary retired. well... dont expect him to do xiao sheng also.

the roles in my record are mainly soldiers, servants and a coffin seller which is an extra. so i dont consider them as a 'proper' role cos mainly dont have any speech. if yes, it will be only 1 line or 2.

the only role i had performed so far is the prince uncle role in ren min theatre.
1st scene: marriage, xiao sheng. the rest, lao sheng with 100 kids. omg.. lao sheng again.

teacher wanted me to learn the old king role which richard did in iran and mlj's premier's role of zq. this yr cny, i was talking to yh n teacher to let me do huangfu shaohua instead although i prefer to do the emperor. hahaa

well, at least for yu niang, she told me to do a mid-age general with 2 infants. ok lah. can consider as xiao sheng.
if doing tat role, i hoping to wear lin zi, juz like zhou yu.

no matter if lao sheng or xiao sheng, i will work hard but after my exam... sian...

bought something foro GSS. actually its not really i wanna buy but there is nothing i can do abt it.

i received a $100 voucher for a watch, tried to offer to ppl but no one interested. so i went to collect the voucher myself today.
upon reaching the redemeption centre, i then learnt that the voucher can be used for 'limited' selection of watches available there.
bo bian lor. juz take the cheapest one, n pay the difference.

i see how lah... in the worst case, i wear it myself during big occasion. the best case, i give to someone.

as per mk, this show is known as SLP. so let's keep it the same title for consistency.

at last i tried to do makeup 90%, left a bit on the eyebrows which i cant get the right angle, also the sideburn. totally lost when drawing them...

anyway yh, mk's mom, mk n i are to do a fighting scene. yz practised very hard. i slacker lah, so many things to do at home.

we were divided into 3 teams. the fighters, gods and the fairies...

so gd lor, the gods n fairies got to do their scene at 10pm, while the fighters wait til 12AM. 12AM leh!!! can die...

the program for the night started at 6pm to 7am, ending with a morning exercise bah.

wanru reminded me of the camera this round. i had forgotten to bring them for quite a few rounds already. i happily put the camera into my bag. when i was about to use it, i figured that... it is running out of battery.

ms tan is so happy with this set of wig n keep asking if she is more pretty than last time. cos this wig is much much nicer than the previous one she borrowed.

newbie zhuying as dan, fairy. pretty right... too bad she too tall. i think she is juz a brain shorter than me.

newbie baohua as sheng, god. may remarked that she is much handsome as sheng than dan

so i believe they are likely to be doing sheng lor. sigh... i think i getting demoted to 101th line sheng liao... can newer newbies go do dan next time... i demoting to 116th line very soon...
