auntie pass away

my uncle's wife had just passed away.

the wake will last til tue but we all went home to sleep. her niang jia members are there to help out the wake.
not much things to do cos they were folding the papers for burning. so we just sit there and chat.

normally the family will meet twice a year, on cny and grandma's birthday.
but this aunt did not turn up on granny bday this yr. she had suffered a stoke a few years ago and managed to partial recover.

i went to the site on fri night after getting the news from dad. today i rushed there after OT and visiting coi's performance site to give them mental support cos i skipped this performance due to the exam in june.

tomorrow i have plans of going down but pending if my cousins going or not. else sian to be alone.

i was alone there on fri night til my bro came abt 1hr later. sit there look at ppl walking n drinking my drinks.

my mother's sister came also. then she made me realised something...
she said 'ur grandfather passed away on chu 3, ur aunt passed away on chu 4. they can remember the days easily..'
then i said 'ya, then chu 5 eat ba zhang'

kang xi exhib

went to ACM on sat. the last time i went was... dont know how many donkey yrs ago... if i not wrong, i dont go to ACM but Empress Place Musuem. wow... tat's history..

We were greeted by other exhibits in the musuems eg some bronze and artifict found in sg and other parts of asia.

There is even a Da Er Ya Bo inside!

the final gallery we visit is the Kang Xi Exhib itself.

At 19, defeated 3 Fan,
At 21, defeated Mongols
At 30 (1684), the Taiwan Zheng family surrendered
In 1696 he led three armies of 80,000 in the campaign against the Dzungars.

His finances is also well done. Thus building Kang Xi Sheng Shi.

There are 2 paintings in the hall. Both lengthed at least 10metres long. A picture of the dynasty during his time.

An armour was also sighted.

most hazard job

I was reading this article on the papers today and it was talking abt the most hazard job.

When most ppl died around age of 60-70, this majority of this group of ppl died within 50s.
This group of ppl is subjected to be murdered by their close allies and siblings. The murdered accounted for abt 5%-10%

They also kill themselves by eating medicines of long life. This group amounted another 5%-10%.

About 10%-15% died of sextual life.

Majority of the balance died of tiredness.

About 10% of this job is taken up by kids below 18 yrs old. Of these, half of them managed to live til mid twenties only. However, those who managed to live til thirties, become famous. Eg Kang Xi, Qian Long, Liu Che

See how hazard this job is... wonder y so many ppl still like to quarrel and fight for the job...
