winner or loser

was watching an old show. a line made me do some thinking.

"When u think u win, u are actually the ultimate loser. its not just a loser but yi bai tu di loser, esp when it comes to relationship"

ya, maybe i always wanted to win and dont like to lose. this result me always ending up as a loser. although i cant be a prefect person, but i prefer to look for someone prefect in my eyes. the search resulted a big loop ended up in the starting position.

the world is round, so is the loop. but the world change, but not the loop. time to change the surrounding of the loop by adding some bus stops and trees.

there are also lots of truth which no need to be uncovered. cos there is no point knowing these truth

dialect

is it wrong to learn dialect?

i was reading the papers a few days ago. it said that some sec sch are allowing students to take dialect as 3rd language in the form of songs.

i believe its good lor. cos at least they will know how to pronounce the words and know their dialect.

the next day, a guy wrote 'y waste tax payer money on dialect which is not econmical?'

looking at china n tw, the ppl there may not teach dialect as their main language but they are able to speak and read in dialect unlike us using pinyin for chim words.
my language may not be strong but my script had abt 20% - 30% pinyin.

the 3rd language, i believe is optional. if u dont like it, dont learn lah. there are some religions which promote english n not other languages. i believe the writer belong to these religions lor. if the dialect is not popular, there wont be ppl learning them. i also believe the writer cant read or speak his own dialect. he 'destroyed' his own foundation, that's his business lor. y write this type of discouraging thing.

when we go ktv, there are lots of youngsters like us singing dialect songs. when i went ktv with alumni some time ago, not many sing dialect cos the lost of foundation but at least they said they heard the song before. so y must this language be destroyed?

in charity shows, dialect singers are allowed to sing for 10 min but they managed to rise the most money most of the time. i believe the IDA and other related ministries should review this policy.

How to keep hold of ur guys

Keep a loose leash
Don't keep your partner caged up, just like you would not keep your dog confined in a cage all day.

Give lots of praise
If your pet dog does something you want, you would reward it immediately. Same logic applies for the husband - say "I appreciate that" the moment he does something considerate for you.

Let him make a mess
Dogs like to have their own space to scatter their toys around or mess their blankets just so. Likewise, husbands should be given leeway to mess the place up a little without having their wives jump down their throats. It's better to have a messy house but a comfortable and happy husband.

Show me the love
Most pet dogs have a favourite place to be scratched or touched. Dr Meyerowitz said: "If you haven't already done so, then you should learn where and how your mate likes to be touched."

Keep him well fed
Many women have dinner cooking when their husbands come home, but delay serving the meal. Feed your husband at the same time each day. But if you can't do that, at least don't keep him waiting. After all, you would not keep withhold a treat from your dog after holding it out to him. In the same way, have dinner at the same time each night, so he knows when to expect dinner.

planning trips

my army friend, planned to go chengdu, sichuan as he wanted to go see the temple of wu hou and other temples + attractions there.

3 days later, he msg tat he cant confirm when he wanted to set off.

my annual schedule is very tight as i got exams n classes.

i knew some ppl are also having plans to go places like beijing, guangzhou, etc. but i dont think its really in my list this yr.

anyway, anyone happen to interested to go jiu zai gou, chengdu, xi an, luoyang, chang an, (is there a place call nanyang or nanjun). let me know.

maybe my list for next next round could be liang guang, liang jiang, shanghai, nanjing, beijing, fu jian.

of cos i not going to visit all these places lah

i will go fu jian to visit my grandparents' hometown lah... but i not going to acknowledge myself lor... must buy and bring lots of gifts for them leh...
if i know them, i dont mind lor... i dont know anyone lor...

in late 1980s, my grandparents went back. its my late grandfather's last time. it seems that he knew its his last time liao. shortly, before/ after he passed away, one of his closest next of kin also went with him.

although, i like 3 kingdoms but i dont like this show

1) i dont remember any Cao Ying in the story
2) Zilong died before KM.
3) Costumes sucks

one thing i like is: it uses thousands of manpower with 'not so much graphic'
i like gu zhuang shows with many manpower... i cant stand such shows which uses graphic. if i am not wrong, Chi Pi uses graphics. lets wait and see

heavy debts

i had been in heavy debts recently...
its not known how and y i incurred such debts, making my life difficult...

sometimes he came to my office or classroom to find me. the lucky thing is ah long did not come to paint my house.
but ah long is much clever, he went to find my guarantor for payment. interest is collected from him n ultimately, i had to pay the bill.

i think i better go see my debtor, zhou gong now...

finally, the ers is withdrawn from e account. i just love 'investment with the govt'. high interest with no risk. which bank u will find interest of 10% during good economics. as per my previous blog, i had stated the est. withdrawal amount.

i made a check with the ppl around me. it seems that majority of them had draw out the money.. so too bad for them.

too bad for me... i had to 'pay' my debt cards bills with the monies. sigh...

next batch should be around mid april for GST credit (2007)

its a happy day for me. i finally requlise my appointment as treasurer for my sec sch alumni. i was one of the founding committee with the rest of the board. as part of independence and to ensure the accounts are kept properly, the treasurer must change within 2 yrs of appointment.

i had ended my second yr, thus its time for fresh blood to take over.

behind this wall is our AVA theatre. the sch logo was put up abt 1 or 2 yrs ago. its very unique as no matter how u turn, u still get the logo

dlq noticed the growing tail and asked me to not to cut it off as it represent chang shou.
but i think my previous life could be ai xin jue luo family member haha..

there are ppl who said that baddie got such tails but i dont think i am 1 lor.then someone suggested to leave it so that i might look like huang fei hong or gangster.

but pls lor, i belong to 'wen' group of ppl not the 'wu' group. juz by having a long tail, wont make me look like gangster lor.

mk suggested me to learn martial art so that i can do the fighting, i am considering but i got no time.
