Busy these few days...
Long time no talk abt finances...

Anyway, there r 3 types of dividends
1) Less Tax
2) Exempt
3) One Tier


1) Less Tax dividend = dividends which have tax credits. meaning, IRAS will pay u back if there is no personal tax. But this system will end in YA 2007 which is this yr...

2) Exempt dividend are tax free dividends, as simple as that...

3) One Tier dividends are dividends that is already taxed but there will not have any tax credit

Eg:
Gross dividends: $100, Income $100

Less Tax: Paid $80 in yr 1, $20 in yr 2. Total 100
One Tier: $80 in yr 1, $0 in yr 2 Total 80
Exempted: Paid $100 in yr 1, $0 in yr 2. Total $100

EArthquake

While we having class yesterday, the earth shook!
my China classmates so scared tat they said "earthquake is it? should we leave e place"
I felt the vibration but say nothing. However, was also feared. something must had gone wrong

this morning, i received report that some1 played fire work powder, something like tat... in woodlands... but i in orchard lor... n got no report of earthquake in indonsia

Packed Schedule

I got nothing better to do this half and decided to make a mess out of it.
Conclusion. I packed my Aug, Sept and Oct.
Nov will have a bit of break but need to go for exam revision. Then in Dec, i only be free after mid Dec.

Oh no... Wat had i done!!!
No more free slot in Sept except for Sunday. Oct still available for advance booking. To think tat i keep telling ppl that they can book me in 3 hrs... Ya... like cab right...

wagon cab

i was going to client's place yesterday, decided to take a cab rather than my usual bus.
as i lift up my hand, i noted a weird looking cab stopping... its a VW

i was thinking if i m to board the cab as its more expensive. Then again... i forgot tat its under company account. Hack it lah. Board...

from my understanding, the cab was a 7 seater which they convert to a 5 seater with a large laggauge compartment. uncle saying tat sg only got 10 such cab.

wow... can tell u... the feeling is different from sitting in toyota.

so far i sit on Mez once. Its also different lor...

Next time must sit more often on these 'rare' cabs...

i kana spied!!!
i was followed by Private Investigators during the past few days... OMG!!!
some1 knew of my movements even though i dont tell the person!!!

anyway, i was happy when i received my result via email. i was quite worried...
as usual, i covered the front half screen and start peeping...

omg... dont tell me i got 48 again!!! tell u hor... i got 2 times of 48 liao and once 49.

heng ah! i got 68...
Jeremy also took e same paper as me. but he had cleared 3 more papers than me.

i looked at his result... 20!
i told boss: "Tao Key... dont let him do tax, he failed very terrible..."
he laughed and said "ya... i cant do"

but tax is not an easy paper lor. once u cancel, the entire paper will look ugly.

i going to watch these 2 shows in Oct. Any1 1 2 go?

divine lot

i went to guan yin temple and got a lot.

e story is abt Jiang Tai Gong.
TG came down from mountain as instructed. Then he made an old friend whom introduced an old lady to him. They got married but TG got no career.

Friend gave him money to set business. In the end, TG set up fortune telling business. Pipa Spirit is caught by him. Emperor was pleased with him and asked him to supervise building a palace.

But TG rejected it and became a hermit. He sat by the steam with his famous fishing rod with no fishing hook... End of story

I was asking abt career and romance.
It looks like a good lot but...
(u need to understand abt these chapters of the story else u wont know wat i worry)

change role

today got notice of change role.
anyway the role not finalise yet. i supposed to do fashion show when we first assign the roles for bi wen zhao qin having 4 roles: boatman, servant, marriage party, constable

teacher had wanted me to tempo take up the dan's father role the week before. this means my servant and boatman will go to the 3 aunties who yet go on stage.

today, teacher said "mingde, how come ur songs suddenly up n suddenly down 1... In gzx, no sheng duan nvm, but must have sing well"

guess she not happy tat i go for sheng duan class n not opera ktv class
then she wants me to take a scholar role.

BUT boy m i relieved! although, i got no chance to do lao sheng but i got xiao sheng's role which i think i may do better. e lao sheng got a long poem to remember (i scare performance date too close to exam, my memory space not enough hahaa)

as usual, i king of NG in singing session today. i tried singing at home but i still cant get the keys and notes right...

today is an important day.

when we doing IV (better known as hang water), we scare the patient cried in pain when we injecting the needles in.

my friend had an incident whereby the patient screamed and the needle actually poked my friend after poking the patient... i dont know how it happened. my friend panicked and also started looking for help...

road bully

i wanted to blog abt customer service but changed mind after reading AC's blog.

after my usual window shopping, i was 'petrolling' in Bt Batok area before heading home.
a car honk was heard. It seems tat some1 had took his time to walk across the road thus e driver slowed down and honked him.
guess wat? the predestrian slapped on boots of the car. The driver was so angry that he stopped the car n confront the guy.

mins later, a bicycle was on e road, making way for another predestrian. the cyclist turned his head to wave at the lady, telling her to b careful.
as he turned back his head, a taxi braked in front of the bicycle to pick up passenger. the cyclist was shocked. luckily he reacted fast else he will kiss the boot of the taxi.

doesnt the ppl now have manners?

WWII surrender

today marks the surrender of e Japs in WWII.
the PM actually visited the Yasukuni shrine. I think he dont want to continue his terms already.

due to the deeds tat the Japs did during the 5 - 7 years, it had created damages to many ppl. u can imagine how the ppl during that time, use their own bodies to block the jap tanks from proceeding, the numbers of family tat were broken, the citizen who were captured for questioning.

Tat War created so much damaged in compared to WWI.

the Japs not only did not realise their mistakes but also change their textbooks n write them in favor of them.

thus e China n Koreans were so upset. Sigh...

China were very upset with the Rape of Nanking. Furthermore they had juz finished Xin Hai Ge Min in 1912. After which, there were internal war between KMT n Communist.
But damages had already been done. As such, today marks a day of celebration. Celebration of the End of the War!!!

i think i suffered retribution finally...

zhenqin's nephew called me "girl girl" when we saw him in e charity show.

my makeup so poor meh? anyway, i first time try doing makeup myself tat day with richard touching up for me.

i sms him this morning cos his birthday juz passed. i tot he replied to say thanks or gave me early greetings leh...

I replied him "helo... my birthday coming but u no need to give me such greetings mah"

he called to apologies. i told him tat i will invoice him for injuries created. we had a good laugh. my boss then looked stoned at me...

charity show

i did my 1st charity show. we were only given e performance location abt 6pm. funny right?
its only til i reached there then i know its a fund raising for a poor hospital in boon keng mrt tat area which i did filming there once. that hospital did not charge us for using location lor. but my director gave an angbao to the hospital.

anyway overall, our performance flopped...
i believe yh or mk will blog on e show someday. thus i wont touch on e show.

i had a terrible night...
my singing failed me again. i went offkey around e 3rd line.
i was supposed to sing a line in Tao Hua Guo Du also. But i forgot my lyrics. my first 2 words were WRONG! somehow i whacked in e last 5 words correctly but offkey again but my position is wrong... SIAN LEH!!!

so wat's e best things i did?

ironing clothes

i had a very good record of ironing clothes. i always took 1/2 hr to settle 1 shirt but my mom like to redo after i had ironed.

after 5 mths of not ironing, i took e iron again. (mom injuried wrist last yr, so she took rest)

i finished 3 disc of Beggar and Rich Gal but juz finished ironing 3 shirts and 1 costume.

i wondering how miko's mom finished 1 costume within 15min... i took abt 1 disc time to finish 1 but its not well done...

in e end... not much lah... scald 2 fingers only... now red in color...

bone cracking

i was at SL for shen duan lesson...

we were doing some movements n all my bones start cracking...

National Day

i almost tot today got work... in e end i woke up at 7am.
i wonder how come my bro no on CNA, i start reading the papers and listen to 2530 epsiode 93.

changed into my business clothes n started leaving for office. Suddenly i remembered its National Day. i changed to normal clothing n left for my appointment.

haha... not used to having a holiday in e middle of the week.
i like holiday on fri or mon. and this yr, most of our holiday fell on these 2 days.

Galera

Dont know if i spell the name of e restaurant right or not.
But juz to write down some things on the blog.

As u know, i very niao 1... tell u something. the first time i stepped into this restaurant was on my chinese birthday last yr.

my penpal, suddenly jio me out cos she got a fight with her x-bf. as i was free that day, i tot 'y not, c if i can open her mind'

i met her in e mrt station n we were discussing where to eat.
suddenly she asked 'u like waffles? i bring u go eat'
i missed A & W's waffle with ice cream thus we went to Galera.

i looked at the price. my eyes popped out... Wow $6 for a waffles n got no root beer!

anyway, we juz ordered a waffle each to eat. i added an ice cream. She liked hers plain.

after which, i went there myself to do self study during the exam period.

the last time i ate there was in celebration of my 7 yr old car license, with some good friends. Yeah, its on 5th August.

massage

went for massage yesterday.
normally i will go for a session half yr once.

to me, massage got 3 level.
Level 1 - Foot reflexology cum back massage. i will go to those shops or my chinatown doc for back massage. i will only go to my doc if i got other illness also.

Level 2 - Ba Guan. This is the use of a cup and the cup will rub on the back. shiok!
My doc only used this on me twice. He said he could relax my muscles thus not necessary to use ba guan on me.

Level 3 - Zhen Jiu. Ya... Use needle. after the needle went onto the xue dao, the doc burns something on e needle. this is more painless than ba guan. Chinatown doc said i only need to use ba guan. no need to waste his needles. hahaa
so i went to boon keng doctor.

miko's house

we had a meeting at miko's place.
by right, meeting is to start at 1pm.
in the end, may had not finished making her loved wantan for us. richard is busy doing some music but there was sound of 'dry swimming' in background.
me, being the most on time person, got there around 1.30pm.

miko n i ended up watching mdt for abt an hour or so before we went downstair to play with horsewhip. i brought Jun Ma along.

Guess wat? YP's horse is there also! it looked thin. hahahaa
MK said that YP's horse is not fed.
Coincidentally, my whip n hers are of e same color...

While resting during our play, auntie n i had a silly conversation

Me: My whip is female 1, YP's is male. Cos YP's looks longer than mine. (her whip is a bit dented)

i had no intension of telling my teammates that i doing opera cos i know they will make fun of it.
but Eric big mouth n told every1. i told Eric that we doing Tang Bo Hu in Tampines some time ago although i dont do the show but he busy with his Er Hu rehearsal

Gan asked me "Heard u doing opera is it? wat u acted as? Lao Hu?"
I puzzled and asked... (Tang Bo Hu got lao hu 1 meh?) 'Wat Lao Hu?'

Gan: "u doing Wu Song Da Lao Hu?"

range

we woke up at 4.30am on thur to go to the range for some shooting
i dont know wat's going on in between but we reached e range at abt 7.30am.

we waited abt 11am before our first shoot to neturalise our weapons.
waited til 2pm for our test day shoot.
then waited til 8pm for our test night shoot.
reached base abt 11.30pm
cleaning weapon too 2hrs b4 i can bathe.

dont ask wat happen in between... wait... wait... n wait...

we had moving targets this round. First time i see 'moving' targets. it's very difficult compare to our normal shoot.

anyway, of all e 13 details. We beat 11 teams n had e same score as 1 team
e OC of e company was shamed when he told us e results...

e 'bai ka bai chuo' team beat all his abled bodies...

night off

we managed to get night-off for tonight. i going back camp later.

yesterday i was complaining to some of my friends that i dont like yesterday cos its injection day. we had to inject ourselves with needles, n its e thick big truck needle. i wanted to film down e process but no phototaking is allowed.

juz before the injection, something came out of my mind...
