Book 3

i think i gila liao...
finished Feng Shen Bang Book II within a week.

i still wondering y the immortals scare their names to be written in e Scroll of Feng Shen.

Went to do some research on some deceased opera fans which miko had introduced. But need to find out more. However before this... need to start on Mu Dan Ting Book I.

I will be having tight schedule in July. We were requested to attend some opera functions. Afterwhich, rehearsal for new shows. Dont think i can blog so often liao. Anyway, mostly words also. U all c liao also bored.

I c if can get some pic from e functions.

I 1 2 buy a proper camera, but i looked at my expenses account. Oh dear!!!
Overspent last month by a few hundred

My major expenses in e upcoming months. July got insurance (60% of salary), Aug got ACCA class (30%), Sept got tw (100%), Oct got exam fee (20%). OMG... when can i buy my camera... This does not include opera makeup class, opera lesson, opera makeups, transport and food.

1/2 yr review

Actually this review is to be done on 30th. but since i free today, might as well type something.

This half yr, did not achieve much except

1) Finally pass my 2.1 and 2.2 after so many tries.

2) Got a chance to learn something new (opera lah, wat else) and hopefully have time to study more into it

3) Made a lot of new friends. Unlike those friends i had made, these new friends are not ordinary friends but consider good close friends to me. When i in trouble, they will more or less there be there to help and give advice.
When i was in army n poly, ppl tend to take u as wat u r. I not saying that they are no good but though the army guys stay together most of the time, due to different appointment n training schedules, we tend to be busy with our own things. But still i would like to say thank u to Eric and my best army friend, who give me e nick of 3-cup drunk, Andreas.

These group of new friends taught me how to change my tunes though i still trying to get it right, give advices to manage certain things. I would like to thank tian, liqin, qiuyue and miko for spending their time on me

4) Another group of friends whom i may not know personally but is there to hear er... see me talk rubbish. from their blogs, i m able to learn more things and there are things which make me go dig more abt their topics eg mdt (i still reading... hm... mdt also got md, same as my name hahaa), . at least i dont read RTK throughout the year this time. They also managed to uncover bad habits which i had but i dont know abt them. Hm... wonder how they did this... mk, xj, ac, mx, frannis, piano thanks

hopefully i can change for e better in e second half. Please more more point teach :P (translate chinese)

5) After retiring from backstage abt 10 yrs ago, i m back! but this time, i on e front stage. Though, my role is not heavy but i prefer it this way as i half work, half study. Now i 1/3 work, 1/3 study, 1/3 opera. i had abandoned my npcc career but took up alumni treasurer appointment. But i not going to spend too much time there as such, i told my assistant 'u do the work, i do the check'. Hey, if every1 doing work, who check? heheehe

speaking of tat, heard there is a bbq in sept. How come e chairman got no more news n meetings abt it?

Peony Pavilion II

i was saying tat i was unhappy with the mu dan ting which i borrow so i went to library to borrow another ver. this type a 1,000 over page version.

This ver follows the chinese full version with english translation. i yet start e book as i reading Feng Shen Bang book II.

I had a bad habit of reading a story over and over again... but either my eyes got problems or my memory got problems. i will find parts which i cant recall from the story even though i read the same ver of book twice.

fyi, i read RTK 6 times already. After these 2 books, i may go another round provided my schedule allows

Peony Pavilion

was at the library today as there is no class. wanted to borrow da vinci but the book become a hot-cake.

as i was looking through the shelves for favourite code 133 and 330, i dont find anything tat attract me. so i went to look at other sections. suddenly, i saw this book.

The previous version i read was play ver with 55 chapters, this ver is story ver with 14 chapters. Wow... difference so big.

Anyway, i was trying to find some interesting poems which i found in play ver but cant. After reading 5 chapters, i decided to bring home read cos i wanted to go buy sg pools heehee.

This ver has english n chinese ver. Everytime, i finished 1 paragraph of english ver, i read the chinese ver.

think i should be able to finish it by tue.

George's wedding

Went to George's (my only colleague) wedding. by the time i got back, i was hang over liao. Mr Ong went also. And he 'ta' 15 '2 pack on e rock'. Everytime, he feel like ta-ing. He will say 'come lah mingde, ta with me' i fainted...

Completed 3 red wine n 1 white beer then i kana hang over already. Anyway i shun bian ' jie jiu xiao chou'. hopefully i dont did something silly. This morning, i looked at my hp log. Wow i really did silly things... sending pic mms out to ppl, calling ppl in e midnight of the night. Luckily, only send n call to abt 6 ppl. Else my hp going to be bombard by 'wat's wrong with u'

e groom was also hang over courtesy of Mr Ong. he was helped out by his mother juz before the dinner ended. George was drinking orange juice when he went around to thank his guest. By when he came to our table, Mr Ong called he n his brothers to come over. They were greeted with '2 pack on e rock'.

grasshopper

my boss n lady boss left early today to attend funneral of a client. er... not really early lah.. 6pm. so i become e last to leave e office for the first time. (left at 6.15)

Juz before we left (abt 5.45), a neighbour saw a grasshopper on our door. my lady boss was so shocked and surprised. she stayed outside e door for 10min, then my boss n i went to c wat happened. The above is still there. hehee

we returned to work. i told my lady boss tat she is very surprised to c grasshopper.
i told her "this is ur client. he came to see u first before u go and c him."
my lady boss was so frightened that she walked away from me.

when my grandfather passed away, i saw a black moth in one of the room.

furthermore, we are at 12th floor. how can a grasshopper hop up e stairs or take lift up?

there is 1 thing i hate abt my job - cashflow...
i can spend 1 whole day juz to cash tat flow. it makes me silly n waste time...
today i juz completed an audit - with all entries by journals.
i hate journals cos journals normally got nothing to support.

then i was drafting the accounts. guess wat... i spent 1 hr to do cashflow n i still cant flow e cash.

I noted this show a few days ago n decided to watch because the title is Mdm White Snake.
fyi, i watch shows only if it satisfy any of the 2 conditions: (1) title is good (2) got company.

mk bought her ticket liao so i buy my own. I call the theatre for direction.

wat type of answer is this? i also know its in chinatown else y call kreta ayer theatre...

the show was very exciting, with many stuns and arts eg. change face, wu long jiao zhu, fire blowing, so many... (i only know these few terms hahaa)

i could only say "Zhi Hui Piao Jia, good show, Zan!" wat else? er...

But i think the show did not finish cos it only end with fighting scene at Golden Hill Temple.

If u 1 me to choose a character to act, i would say Fa Hai. hahaa... only sit there with little lyrics and script. (cant blame lah, dont expect a novice to take up Xu Xian)

was at bukit merah audit today.
went to tiong bahru market. saw lots of familiar faces.
actually, i quite familiar with tiong bahru and redhill

World Cup

Expecting me to blog this right? clever...

The last WC is in 2002 during my NS days. During that time, my camp is having lull (no activities). So in e morning, we were playing soccer in e carpark. After lunch, we were sleeping til 2.30pm.

We went to the Mess to watch the games. That time, Ch 5 was telecasting all the games. As it is in Japan/ Korea, e game started at 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

We invited our commander to watch with us and will always reserve e best seat for him. That Lim Ah Cai once took his seat and was drove out of the mess by all of us.

As expected, there are lots of gambling. As the chief of the messboys, i open the mess with permission to sell drinks and beers. But only limited to 1 beer per person and sales only commence before the match. Cos i wanna watch the game, dont 1 2 sell...

E most memorial goal of that WC is Ronaldohino's goal against England. I bet on England. When that goal went in, the entire mess was 'searching' for the ball. Some say its behind e net, some said its in the net. When e whistle is blew, we tot it could be a goal kick til we saw e keeper pick e ball from between the posts.

Overall, i made a loss of abt $70 for the entire cup.
Those hardcore gamblers lost over thousands.

My buddy lost $5... (bet 1 game, lost 1 game)

i juz received news that my only colleague may be leaving office.

this means tat i will be unofficially promoted to manager cos there will be no1 in office when boss not around. stress leh! then there will be carrier services to keep track. then got admin things to do. i auditor cum msn chatter where got time to do those things!!!

then all the enquires will go to me! i had to answer all in-coming calls! need to fill flask n empty dustbins! manage the fridge! so many things to do!!! ahhhhhhhh...........

y boss yet get another person?! its been almost 1 mth since our part-time auditor left us.

I walked into the Expo exam centre. Its a hall full of tables and chairs... In a way, it looks quite grand to me. Sua ku...

I had to complete 5 questions within 3hrs. By the time i finished compulsory questions 1 and 2. I am left with only 1.5 hr. I started to panic. However, i completed the whole paper by 5.36pm. 9 min before my schedule. I normally leave abt 15mins to do some checkings.

I realised that my Question 1, which carries 32marks have some errors. But its too late to rewrite the answer, dont have liquid paper, unable to squeeze in some calculation. I know i bang car liao... The dream came true as expected...

Anyway i met Yanhong outside the hall to take cab to airport. By the time we reached there, we are the last to arrive. After farewell dinner, i saw them though the gate. Unknowing why, there is suddenly a feeling of emptiness.

i m quite disappointed with my brother.
we had an arguement of the cost of internet. he wanted to buy a new laptop but changed his mind when singnet offer pc with broadband. so he subscript to the broadband but he dont let me use the pc cos he want to monitor the US Dows Jones. So i piss off and buy my own pc costing my almost $1.5k and he got to use the free pc.

he only pay $55/mth for the internet.
bases on that: i should be entitled to use 24 mth free. 24 X $55
he disagreed n say that net is net, pc is pc. then i told him to pay me $600 for my pc. he also disagree. saying its my pc not his. y should he pay? then net is i use, so i must pay. IDIOT way of calculation.

i told him i not going to pay and he decided to offer free for a while til today he rise the topic again.

i dont mind paying but i dont need broadband speed. so i refuse paying half cost.
on top of that subscription, i pay for previous internet connections also. i dont even ask him for $.

now he saying he upgrade his computer n want me to pay half of his subscription. Wat has his upgrading got to do with me!?

On wat ground does he have to claim against me?

This is e new casino, in case u dont know. But wat does the shape looks like to u?

On e far left, its a lotus which is a 4 sided stage, fit for opera. er...
Next is 3 round entertainment centre, inclusive of a casino, conference hall, etc.
On the right stands 3 hotels with a sky garden.

To me, e lotus shaped theatre looks ok to me. Lotus in e Pond. (Shearers Bridge and e Marina Dam will cover Singapore River, creating Singapore Pond)
Lotus being a holy item, if build higher than the 3 entertainment centres, may reduce e bad effects of casino.

Wat i concern is e 3 hotels...

i received e second ah kua warning within these 2 mth.
this is something which i quite concern abt.

in share market, i fear of profit warning cos the next day, shares prices will drop.
in opera, i fear of ah kua warning. cos i means i becoming more girly.

hahaa... i cant be 1st line liao... must be like those old uncles who keep talking non-stop.

Due to heavy Yin light Yang in our troupe, the possibility of becoming 1 is quite high. As such, i need ppl to remind me if anything happen.

grandma's birthday part 1

Today we celebrate grandma's birthday.

This occurred when a person studied til he / she went mad and start doing bo liao things or not related to his study schedule.
Eg: Print out Sg exam question but reading UK exam answer. And still can read til got tiger got dragon. Then suddenly realise he read wrong 1.
Instead of following the study schedule, went to do other things like watching tv, opera, chit chatting and company lonely ppl having dinners.

How to cure?
Wait til after exam lah. So easy... Automated cure 1. no need medication.

Occur when 2 or more ppl who like shen duan or wanted to brush up their shen duan. Then when they meet, all the shen duan will come out.
Hei! This is a good disease ok... Those who not sure of shen duan can watch them. And those who kana the disease can brush up the shen duan.
